    DIRECTOR & FOUNDER

Tyler is a senior branding leader, strategist and trusted partner, creating meaningful business transformation through a unique mix of creativity, rigour and cultural / commercial perspective gained over 20+ years. He founded Missing Catalyst® in 2012 to challenge the status quo and deliver hands-on (c-suite level) thinking as a seamless extension to teams, whilst deepening his engagement with the arts.

Career highlights include repositioning Glenfiddich with ‘pioneering spirit’ to achieve unprecedented growth and global cultural status; being integral to Telefónica’s evolution during critical years of Industry 4.0 acceleration in smart connected technologies, creating global IOT campaign ‘Take Things Further’ and setting path for radical change; and more recently, helping Nespresso gain fresh perspective on the subscription economy and its potential to reshape and amplify their premium on-demand coffee experience.

Past senior roles and strategic partnerships include work at award-winning international branding and innovation agencies—including Landor, Superunion, Lambie-Nairn, Design Bridge, Futurebrand, Heavenly, Exposure/The Gild, Start Design and more. He holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Design and Applied Imagination from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London; Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Northwestern University, Evanston IL (USA); and Alt-MFA from nationally selected Syllabus (UK).

Beyond branding, Tyler is actively engaged with multidisciplinary research, studio development, exhibiting and public speaking. He also serves as Trustee for Outpost Norwich, which operates a gallery and ambitious, nationally recognised artistic programme.
